Great Western Railway between Reading and Gatwick Airport

Description

A problem at a level crossing at Wokingham means that trains have to run at a reduced speed on all lines. As a result, trains running between Reading and Bracknell / Guildford may be delayed by up to 40 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 15:00.

South Western Railway customer advice:

To assist you with your journey your ticket will be accepted, at no extra cost to yourself, on the following services until further notice:

  • Reading Buses 4 and 4a between Reading - Earley - Winnersh Triangle - Winnersh - Wokingham - Bracknell

  • Reading Buses 500 between Reading and Winnersh Triangle

  • Thames Valley Buses 1 between Windsor - Sunningdale - Ascot

  • Thames Valley Buses 128 & 129 between Reading - Winnersh - Wokingham

  • Thames Valley Buses 151 between Wokingham - Bracknell

  • Thames Valley Buses 703 between Heathrow Airport - Windsor - Ascot - Bracknell

  • White Bus Services 441 between Staines and Egham

  • White Bus Services X94 between Ascot - Bracknell - Camberley - Frimley

  • White Bus Services 500 between Staines - Egham - Virginia Water - Sunningdale - Bagshot - Camberley - Frimley

  • White Bus Services 566 and 567 between Staines - Egham - Virginia Water

  • Great Western Railway services between Reading and London Paddington in both directions

  • Elizabeth line between Reading and London Paddington

  • London Underground Bakerloo line from London Paddington to London Waterloo in both directions
