Station Message: Alert!

The work to deliver the new, accessible footbridge is well under way and there are some access changes to the station:

  • Staircase leading to platform 1 is closed and the only access to the platform is via step free footpath via Rothbury Gardens.
  • Both platforms are narrower than usual due to hoardings being up.

To avoid overcrowding, please move further down the platforms, past the waiting shelters, when getting on or off the train. Give yourself plenty of time to get to the station.

The project will be completed early next year.
