Description
Engineering work is taking place between St Denys and Fratton, closing all lines.
Great Western Railway:
Trains between Cardiff Central and Portsmouth Harbour will terminate/start Southampton Central.
A replacement bus service will operate between Southampton Central, Fareham, Cosham (until 20:13), Fratton*,
Portsmouth & Southsea* and Portsmouth Harbour.
Road journey time Southampton Central-Portsmouth Harbour is approximately 75 minutes
*At Fratton and Portsmouth & Southsea:
Buses from Southampton Central to Portsmouth Harbour will stop to drop off only.
Buses from Portsmouth Harbour to Southampton Central will stop to pick up only.
The 17:50 Cardiff Central to Westbury and 19:34 Bristol Temple Meads to Portsmouth Harbour will not run. Customers should travel by alternative services.
South Western Railway:
Buses will replace trains between Southampton Central / Eastleigh and Portsmouth Harbour.
Southern:
Southern have yet to confirm how they are affected by these works.
