Infrastructure Upgrade Work: Buses replace trains to / from Portsmouth Harbour from Saturday 15 to Friday 21 February

Description

Infrastructure improvement engineering work is taking place in the Portsmouth Harbour area, closing all lines. The work is taking place as part of the project to upgrade the railway in the Wessex and South Coast area.

Great Western Railway:

Saturday to Tuesday

Buses will replace trains between Fareham and Portsmouth Harbour.

Wednesday to Friday

Buses will replace trains between Portsmouth & Southsea and Portsmouth Harbour. These buses are provided by South Western Railway.

South Western Railway:

Saturday to Tuesday

Buses will replace trains between:

• Fareham and Portsmouth Harbour

• Havant and Portsmouth Harbour

Wednesday to Friday

Buses will replace trains between:

• Portsmouth & Southsea and Portsmouth Harbour.
  

Southern:

Saturday to Tuesday:

Buses will replace trains between:

• Havant and Portsmouth Harbour

• Havant and Fareham

These buses are run by South Western Railway.

You should use South Western Railway trains at no extra cost between Fareham and Southampton Central.

Early morning / late night buses will be operated by Southern, between Havant and Southampton Central when no alternative South Western Railway trains are running.

Wednesday to Friday:

Buses will replace trains between Portsmouth & Southsea and Portsmouth Harbour

Journey times will be increased when using replacement buses.
