CrossCountry between Manchester Piccadilly / Nottingham / Birmingham New Street / Reading and Bournemouth, and between Manchester Piccadilly and Southampton Central

Great Western Railway between Cardiff Central / Bristol Temple Meads / Westbury and Portsmouth Harbour

South Western Railway between London Waterloo and Southampton Central / Poole / Weymouth, between Eastleigh and Poole, between Winchester / Portsmouth & Southsea and Southampton Central, between Salisbury and Romsey via Southampton Central, and Salisbury to Salisbury circular services

All Southern services to / from Southampton Central

Description

Engineering work is taking place at Southampton Central, closing various lines.

CrossCountry:

Buses will replace trains between Eastleigh and Bournemouth via Southampton Airport Parkway.

Great Western Railway:

Trains will be diverted to run via Chandlers Ford and Eastleigh, calling additionally at both stations. Trains will not call at Southampton Central.

Replacement buses will run between Eastleigh and Southampton Central.

South Western Railway:

Buses will replace trains between:

  • Eastleigh and Southampton Central / New Milton / Bournemouth

  • Southampton Central and Fareham

  • Southampton Central and Romsey

  • Brockenhurst and Lymington Pier

Trains between London Waterloo and Portsmouth Harbour will be amended to run via Eastleigh.

No trains will run between Southampton Central and Portsmouth & Southsea / Portsmouth Harbour.

Trains between London Waterloo and Eastleigh will run to an amended timetable.

Southern:

Replacement buses will run between Havant and Southampton Central.

Trains that usually run between Brighton and Southampton Central will be amended to run between Brighton and Portsmouth & Southsea, and additionally call at Fratton.
