Description
Lines have now reopened following a number of incident between Portsmouth Harbour and Havant / Cosham. However, whilst service recovers, trains may be delayed by up to 30 minutesor revised.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
Southern customer advice:
Trains can now run between Chichester and Havant.
Southern are working to return to a scheduled timetable, but please continue to check journey planners and station information boards before you travel. Trains in the area will still be disrupted, and your journey is expected ot take at least 30 minutes longer than usual.
Services are currently affected by the following incidents:
Earlier trespassers between Chichester and Havant brought all trains in the area to a stand. Emergency services have attended, and the trespassers have been removed from the railway. Trains can now begin to run on this route, but are expected to be severely disrupted for the remainder of the evening.
An earlier incident involving the emergency services between Fratton and Havant has caused delays and service amendments across the area. This has now been resolved, but trains remain disrupted and displaced due to the incident.
This will affect services which run between:
London Victoria and Portsmouth Harbour
Brighton and Southampton
Littlehampton and Portsmouth Harbour

A trespass incident has been reported in the Southbourne area, and trains have been stopped for safety. Emergency services and Network Rail are on-site to remove the person.
Trespassing on the railway is extremely dangerous. Trains run at all times, often without warning, and many areas have high-voltage third rails, steep drops, and other hazards. It is also illegal, with serious penalties for obstructing the railway.
Services on this route have also been disrupted due to an earlier incident involving the emergency services. This incident has been resolved, but trains in the area remain affected.
