Description
Following a signalling problem between Portsmouth & Southsea and Portsmouth Harbour, all lines running between these stations have now reopened.
As service recovers, trains running between Fareham / Havant and Portsmouth Harbour may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 80 minutes or revised.
This is expected until the end of the day.

Great Western Railway train services from Cardiff Central / Bristol Temple Meads / Southampton Central to Portsmouth Harbour will terminate and start their return journey from Portsmouth & Southsea or Fratton stations.
You may use your ticket on First bus routes 1, 2, 3, X4, 7 and 8 at no extra cost.

Trains are unable to run to / from Portsmouth Harbour.
Southern services will either terminate at Havant, Fratton or Portsmouth & Southsea. Please check live departure boards and journey planners for the latest information.
If you are travelling now, there will be delays of up to 30-40 minutes due to the signalling fault. There are also a number of other incidents off route that will also impact Southern services.
Your ticket will be accepted with alternative South Western Railway services between Havant, Portsmouth & Southsea and Portsmouth Harbour. Please note, these services will also be affected by the disruption.
